Ecobee

Ecobee is an eco-automation company founded in 2007. Ecobee specializes in thermostats–which can be controlled by ‘smart devices’–for commercial and residential spaces.   

Ecobee has supported tree planting in Canada through Forest Recovery Canada (FRC), and the Arbor Day Foundation in the United States, as a tribute to their customers.

In September 2011, wildfire struck Bastrop State Park and the surrounding pine forest. Firefighters saved the historic cabins and facilities built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. The park is recovering from the fire through tree planting and restoration. Ecobee supported trees planted in Texas at Balstrop State Park and across Ontario in 2016 and 2017.
